DESCRIPTION:Experience nature journaling with Autumn Kioti\, inspired by our book club read: Amy Tan’s “The Backyard Bird Chronicles”\n\n\nJoin Nestled Nook (Audubon Everglades Book Club) and the Palm Beach County Main Branch Library for an immersive\, hands-on Nature Journaling session led by interdisciplinary artist and naturalist Autumn Kioti. \nInspired by The Backyard Bird Chronicles\, this workshop invites participants to slow down\, observe\, and connect with the natural world through sketching\, writing\, and reflection. Whether you’re an experienced artist\, a budding naturalist\, or simply curious\, this session offers a creative and mindful way to explore the outdoors. \nTogether\, we’ll learn how to: \n\nObserve nature with both artistic and scientific curiosity\nCapture moments through words\, lines\, and color\nDevelop a personal journaling practice inspired by local flora and fauna\n\nSome materials will be provided\, but participants are encouraged to bring their own journal or sketchbook\, and favorite art supplies if preferred. \nAbout the Instructor\nAutumn Kioti is a multidisciplinary artist whose work blends art\, ecology\, and storytelling.
