DESCRIPTION:Join Chuck Weber as we traverse this natural area\, looking for the usual suspects and migratory birds.\n\n\nExplore the headwaters of the Loxahatchee Wild and Scenic River\, a 12\,957-acre site preserving nine native Florida ecosystems\, including mesic flatwoods\, wet flatwoods\, mesic hammock\, hydric hammock\, wet prairie\, depression marsh\, slough marsh\, strand swamp\, and dome swamp\, on a guided trail with Chuck Weber. \nAccessibility: The first quarter-mile of the trail is paved and leads to a viewing platform\, making it wheelchair accessible. However\, beyond that point\, the trail is not paved. \nDistance: The trail covers a distance of 2.8 miles. \nRestrooms: Restrooms are available on-site\, as confirmed by Parks and Recreation. \nPlease ensure you cancel your ticket if you purchase one and later find yourself unable to attend.
