A number of people showed up for an exciting Eagle release. This chick is from Grassy Waters Preserve’s second and newest Eagle nest.

Volunteers will monitor the nest area a few weeks to see if the chick reunites with the other eaglet and adult. This eaglet has been under medical care in a large flight cage/barn at the Busch Wildlife Sanctuary since the end of February.
