Dear Audubon friends,

Our National Board member Jeff Goodby is a co-founder of Goodby and Silverstein, a San Francisco-based advertising firm that has done many famous campaigns, including the iconic “Got Milk” ads.

He’s looking to help us promote birds through videos that use new technologies and approaches that we’ll roll out this fall—and he needs YOUR help.

His team is casting a national net for locations where you frequently see lots of birds on multiple wires. They want to set up GoPro cameras across the country to capture these images. He is, believe it or not, going to turn videos of those birds into musical pieces. (He’s not looking for birds on tree limbs or rocks or beaches—there’s a specific reason why he’s looking for wires; they translate well into musical scales.)

Please submit your locations here (note – our chapter is Audubon Society of Everglades) by Friday, June 27—maybe he’ll pick yours.

Sincerely,
David
