I submitted this image last year to the National Audubon yearly photography competition. This years winners are displayed in this month’s magazine. When you submit a photo, it becomes their property in the sense they have the rights to use it if they want whenever they want. Apparently they needed a purple Gallinule foto for an article and they chose mine. They did not contact me in advance. I look at most of their electronic articles but not all. I was stunned to see they used mine! I am not a professional photographer and I don’t sell. Please free to use my image for ASE web site. It was shot at Green Cay.
