Grassy Waters Preserve “Behind the Scenes” Field Trip Saturday, January 26 Meet at 8:00 a.m. in the parking lot of the nature center on the south side of Northlake Boulevard, west of Beeline Highway.  We will car pool to an area not open to the public. STA 1 EAST BIRDING TRIP JANUARY 7, 2012

An agreement was just reached with South Florida Water Management District and Audubon Society of the Everglades to begin birding tours at Storm Water Treatment Area 1 East.

We had our first walk at Peaceful Waters Wetlands in Wellington. It was a fabulous morning! The 28-acre park has boardwalks and easy grassy trails.
