July 1, 2008. General meeting. Shannon Wiyda will be speaking on exotics both big and small: “From ticks to pythons!”

May 7, 2008 9:00 a.m., at STA1E. The South Florida Water Management District will inaugurate weekend (Friday-Sunday) access to STA1E. Now birders have a new place to see shorebirds and waterfowl, without having to take a  guided tour.

May 6, 2008, General meeting. ASE will be presenting $20,000 to the Exhibits Fund for the new visitors’ center at the refuge. Y’all come see us now!
